About Me
I have lived in Pakistan, Brunei, and now settled in the United States with my wife and daughter. Originally from Lahore, Pakistan, I have traveled extensively and have always adapted to new environments and cultures quickly. I enjoy interacting with people from different backgrounds and experiencing new cultures.
In the end, I am a restless soul passionate about a few things in life. I enjoy life in different ways, from politics to running, from aviation to nature.
Here's a 'collage' of my experiences in different arenas.
Nature
In my morning walks and travels, I enjoy looking at nature and preserving sights and sounds of what I love. Keeping nature in its pristine original form has become a challenge. Places where it is preserved offer a fulfiling experience. I am grateful to have been blessed by many such experiences and I capture them off and on in a photo stream that I plan to organize soon!
Politics (and Marketing)
At a personal level, I love observing politics because for me, it is one of the greatest marketing activities. While some loath politics (and marketing) for understandable reasons, my stance is that when done right, it can benefit society immensely. For me, US presidential elections are one of the best marketing exercises and campaigns in the world. Every four years, they are conceived with more creative communication and engagement.

Running
is something I love but I am not exactly sure, why I love running. Initially I thought it helps to reduce weight, but I found later that's not the case :) So, I just run for fun. My typical run is 2 miles and I enjoy my time (except the last 10-15 percent of it!
Aviation
I think the most beautiful man-made thing is F-16 and within that F-16C Block 50 is definition of gorgeous! F-22 and F-18 and F-15 and F-14 and.... (the list goes on) are also beautiful but F-16 is love!
After F-16, it's F-18 mainly because of the class delivered year-in, year-out by US Navy Blue Angels. If F-16 is the best man-made things, Blue Angels manifest the marvel of human excellence in engineering and skill.
My passion for aviation is not merely looking at the planes, it's appreciating the human ingenuity and the humbling experiences we have in many challenges and tragedies faced in Aviation. From physical limitations to tragic accidents, humans have learned that they have limitations and aviation proved to be a great teacher!
